Generous territory, expertly chosen
Your franchise fee includes a protected territory of approximately 60,000 qualified households. Before ever signing the Franchise Agreement, we perform an expert analysis of your area to determine the feasibility of our business model within your local community. When determining qualified households, we look at data such as median household incomes, home values, cost of living indices, commuter times, and approximately 15 other population-related criteria. In addition, we evaluate the pet market, including the prevalence of pet-related business, pet expenditures, and pet ownership trends.
When you are granted a territory, that will be protected coverage area. Throughout the term of your franchise, we will not open another Snaggle Foot Dog Walks & Pet Care in your territory. And as a testament of flexibility, you are free to work outside of your territory—for as long or as much as you’d like—without any penalty, so long as no other franchise is established there.
Training Program: Our training program, held over three days at our headquarters in Breckenridge, Colorado, is taught directly by the company's founder. The training is a hands-on program where you will learn every aspect of running your new business--from getting new clients to managing your employees and preparing for taxes. Included in the training is a certification course in Pet CPR/First Aid, an accounting 101 class, and a field training session where you will learn techniques on handling all types of dogs.
There are a lot specifics in starting and running a business, and our training course and materials are designed to walk you through every step. We will teach you about how to set up your business the right way. And for those who aren't familiar with business accounting, we include with our training program an Accounting 101 course which will give you the specific information you need to keep your books in order.
Your Own Website: Our franchisees report that up to 80% of their clients come from the internet. Our goal is that your website will show up on the first page of search engine results, taking the worry out of whether or not the phone will ring once you open for business. What's more, we will customize your site with pictures, a personalized bio, your service offerings, a coverage area map, and more. We will update and host the site for you--so anytime you change your prices, your services, or your pictures, just let us know and we'll make the changes! 
A Laptop Computer: We'll provide you with your own laptop computer for use with your business--and it's yours for the length of your franchise! The laptop comes pre-installed with all of the programs and software that you'll need to run your business and is already set up with your email account, website bookmarks, and frequently used client forms. You'll receive Windows 7®, Microsoft Office Suite®, Quickbooks Simple Start®, and several other pre-installed business programs.
Online Scheduling & Invoicing Program: Our franchise owners are given access to a specially-designed online scheduling and billing system. Clients are able to view their upcoming visits, request service, view invoices, and pay their bill all online. Employees can view their scheduled visits and read through notes about each client. And franchisees are able to manage client data, revenues, scheduled appointments, and generate detailed reports. Included is secure franchisee access to templates, client agreement forms, legal paperwork, and ready-to-use advertising materials.
Grand Opening Assistance: Our team of experts will help you get your business up and running with a customized Grand Opening marketing plan. We will work with you to assess your area and develop the most efficient advertsing methods for your community.
Manuals, Templates, and Resource Library: Our comprehensive Operations Manual is given to you as both a learning and reference tool.
