After fifteen years as a Senior Document Control Specialist, Snaggle Foot franchise owner Laurie Brzostowski decided to shift careers and spend her days caring for the pets in Lake County as a Snaggle Foot pet sitter and dog walker.
Laurie grew up in Libertyville Illinois where she was a member of the High School Symphony and Marching Band and was a very successful gymnast taking her team to win Districts before moving on to State Finals. Although Laurie did not place in the top 5, her achievements as a gymnast are still part of Libertyville High School to this day.
In 1980, she moved to Houston where she worked with Monogram America in a position where she was responsible for selling and setting up franchises. Laurie also lived in Austin and worked for the Texas Association of School Boards as a Word Processor. After an eight year stint in Texas, Laurie decided to move back to her home state of Illinois.
As a member of the Chamber of Commerce, she is heavily involved in community activities and can often be found at local pet-related events and functions. Laurie has been the loving owner of a multitude of pets over the years, and is now parent to Sebastian, an excitable Yellow Lab mix. “My animals are like my children and get nothing but the best care and love. Clients of Snaggle Foot can expect no less!”
When she isn’t working, Laurie enjoys going to movies, reading, cooking, and enjoying the all-too-brief summers of northern Illinois. Her spare time has also been filled with many travels, including trips overseas to see the Notre Dame Cathedral and Louvre Museum.
